Bolivia, not Brazil!
Copacabana is a small holiday town just over the Bolivian border with Peru on the edge of Lake Titicaca. We had a cool hostel where we had a great view of the lake and our own kitchen. We took advantage and alleviated our eating out fatigue (yes it does eventually happen!) by cooking ourselves some food for the first time in about 2 months.

We went on a pedal boat on the lake which was a big mistake as, not only was it broken (we had to pedal furiously for several minutes just to get a few metres across the lake, which watching other pedalo-ers cruise on by), we also managed to get a random floating rope tangled around the propellor (Tamar had to hang over the back trying to free us), before running it aground on a rock just as we got back to the shore.

We had better luck with a boat trip out to the Isla del Sol (Island of the Sun), where we saw some amazing scenery, including a great view of the lake from the top of the hill - it gave us some appreciation of just how huge the lake is.
