Weisst du schon, wann du wieder zurück kommst? Buen viaje i mucho suerte! Helmut

About Friendly Austrian People
Hey Maddin, congratulations for your blog. It's really interesting. You know? I have had a similar experience in Vienna with locals once. When I asked for directions about how to buy a transport ticket to a cashier in a bank: she left her working site and go for make a phone call (I had a line with no less than 9 people behind me!!!). After the phone call she asked for permision and escort me to the tram stop!!! Do you can imagine it??. May be in Argentina that is difficult to figure out an attitude like this (less from a bank cashier) but we (argentines) are more sociable, people here is mostly interested in getting involved in social chat (as in Brazil or Spain, o Italy). I later discover that in Austria was impossible to get involved in a chat (in the train for example) or in any other ocassion in which I need no help but company!. Anyway, I think the interesting point in travelling is to discover this odd differencies, isn't it?. By, and enjoy your stay.
