Meat day. It was Dan´s turn to go with Reynaldo to the supermarket, but due to miss communication, Reynaldo was a no show. Dan ended up waiting for hours in the blisstering heat and having to get the bus into work and wasn´t happy in the slightest.

Reynaldo arrived in a panick with a truck full of birds. He mentioned something about illegal trafficking, whether or not he was the culprit or the savior is still in question. We unloaded al the birds which included parrots, a toucan and dozens of small birds in filthy cages. We gave them all clean water, and fortunately they all survived the apparent 200 mile trip in the back of his truck.

We thought this might mean we had no meat today, but Reynaldo went off to collect the rotting corpses and made us sit down cutting the fat for the animals, which was great.
