The falls are spectacular! There are no words to describe it. We spent the entire day there wandering the various trails and taking pictures every 10 metres or so. The pictures will have to speak for me. I´ll try to upload the best of the hundred or so taken haha.

We decided to try and get up early to be at the falls first thing. We stayed up a bit too late partying so the wakeup was a little harder than we thought... However, we still managed to get there by 9 am. It´s definitely worth it to get there as early as possible. Between 9 and 11, the park wasn´t too crowded and you could even take pictures without other people in them. The water level is up pretty high so the volume of water flowing through is spectacular. You can see the spray from the falls from a km away

I´m sure we´ve soaked up about as many negative ions as humanly possible in one day. Even kids don´t cry at the falls - really! It´s amazing!

We´re heading back tomorrow for some more. There´s a jet boat excursion that takes you right into the falls. You get soaking wet but apparently its fabulous. Can´t wait. Doesn´t look like we´ll make it to the Brazilian side. Most people we´ve spoken with say that once you´ve done the Argentinian side, the other isn´t very exciting - especially not with an addition $100 cdn visa fee!

But first, tonight is a big BBQ and Salsa show at the hostel.
