The Weekend

Ok So Içm still trying to figure out the whole picture posting thing. It takes a long time to load them and I have to borrow Katies computer to do it. ANYWAY... I had a fabulous weekend. We went to the estancia about an hour away from BA. It was great to see sky, grass, and breath air free of exahust. We rode horses, drank mate, and rode bikes. We also had an authentic Argentine asado... or BBQ. It was amazing! Tons of meat of swords (yes swords!) sausage, stakes, and some things I coudnt identify. There was also a HUGE salad bar. Argentines dont eat vegatables as often as Americans so it was nice to have a big colorful plate. The deserts...amazing! I even has rice pudding!

When we got back we went out to a club that our progams emplyees had told us to go to and we didnt have to pay the 15 peso cover! It was a lot of fun. The club had 2 rooms...one with hip hop and reggatone the other with 80s and 90s music. It was hilarious! The rest of the weekend we relaxed, had sushi, and saw Harry Potter (in English with Spanish subtitles) for the 2nd time. The movie theater was huge! We all decided it looked like a ride at Disney World.

Its time to hit the cafe (a daily event) get some coffee and go to class! Pictures next time!
