Beef, beef everywhereBeef, beef everywhereBeef, beef everywhere

Our huge pieces of steak came with about 20 different side dishes. Every single one was incredible.
Saturday night we decided to try a traditional ´parilla´- an argentinian steak house. We ordered an appetizer of half a chorizo sausage, then each of us got different cuts of steak. Seth got lomo which is tenderloin and I ordered a half portion of bife de chorizo which is sirloin. In BA, a half portion is about 20 ounces! We had enough food to fill the entire table and then some. We had beef coming out of our ears. It was definitely the best meal we´ve had so far. Afterwards we were too stuffed to do too much but we stopped into a local bar then headed home to sleep off the beef.

Sunday morning we woke up to dry, blue skies! The first time we´d seen the sun south of the equator. We had nothing to worry about though, because we were leaving town at noon, headed to Salta where the locals told us the weather is always beautiful and sunny. "It never rains in Salta" they say.
