Enjoing the first bit of real warmth!
OK, Buenos Aires is an amazing place to visit. The first thing we noticed when we got there was the striking contrast between BA and Lima, from where we had just come. All the poverty and half finished infrastructure of Lima is either very well hidden in BA or just not there. San Telmo was our favorite area and was the area where our hostel was for our first week in BA. Cobbled streets lined with cafes and bars make it a great place to walk around, explore, party up or just relax! The streets are lined with big old trees and the people, food and coffee anre great.

Most of our days in BA were spent just walking or bussing around seeing the sights in the diferent neighborhoods. The Recoletta cemetary was amazing, like a little city on its own, where every grave is a tomb containing up to 30 coffins and crowned with a monument or chapel on top. There was some great shopping on Av. Florida, a big pedestrian walkway like Swanston St. in Melbourne. The bright houses and street Tango shows in La Boca where a sight and the football stadium on a Boca home

game day is pretty amazing too.

We met some really great people in BA and spent a few messy nights out with Gabby and Tony, a coulpe of kids from San Diego in California. Tony was a hardccore Vegan and he and Stu had more than one drunken philosophical conversation on that matter!! We had so many great meals but two that stand out where the steak (of course!!) and the veggie buffet that Tony took us too. All you can eat amazing chinese vegetarian dishes, too many to try them all, for about $4.00. Brilliant!! Pizza is also good in BA and cheap. The little Émpinadas´are probably the best value way to eat, like a little Pasty and you can have just about any combination of fillings you like. At about $0.75 each they are a damned good way to eat cheap.
