Initially we were planning to visit the modern museum but on location found out that it was under renovation, so instead we followed south passing Russian Orthodox church and finally reaching la Boca. La Boca was created by the settlement of italian immigrants. Its a pretty neat place with tango dancers of every restaurant patio and multitude of little shops. Getting there was the most interesting part where we were guided by the police to avoid a dangerous area of BsAs. Aparently one side of an avenue can be safer than the other. On the way to class we went to Confiteria and got some empanadas and pastries, mmmm my favourite!
The afternoon usually flies really fast, since classes are really fun. And in the evening we ended up going to Puerto Modero. Davide took us there. It really is a modern port, that kinda reminds me of Toronto waterfront. At night there are a lot fo people just walking from bar to bar, enjoying the evening breeze (it's particulary strong at night). I had my mint tea since I was getting sick while the rest enjoyed a bottleof cold beer.
