Wide Streets Took a city tour of Buenos Aires with Travellines. This was a private tour company and was not the hop-on-hop-off bus tour of the city. We were collected from the hotel. They drove us around in very comfortable bus for 3+hours. The guide spoke both Spanish and English. We were allowed 4 stops of 20 minutes each. But the stops were not exactly in ideal places. One was good at Plazo de Mayo. Others were at Boca stadium and some street vender places. No stops at Recoletta Cemetery which should have been the highlight of the tour I think. Will have to do that tomorrow.
Buenos Aires has a lot of garden open spaces, an influence from Europe. Even streets in the not so rich areas are tree lined and are fairly looked after. With the tango show & dinner it looks like it is going to be the most expensive day of the tour.
