End of Buenos Aires- Beginning of Uruguay

So we ended off with our surreal footy match....
We met up with our new Intrepid group, and spent a few more days in Buenos Aires and then we took (a nice ferry) to Colonia, Uruguay, where we spent two leisurely days browsing atesan shops and then we headed for the capital Montevideo. This is quite like BA- a big cosmopolitan city. True to form, someone from our group got mugged, someone ended up in hospital, half the group got sick and we lost someone for an hour in the bus station (pretty stressful, but NONE OF THOSE WERE US!!!) and we have been surrounded by statues of men on horses . . .

More meat, a tango show, a lost ATM card and some cute cobble stone streets.

Here are the photos.

Ps.... If you´re wondering why we havent sent postcards...well, the postal system is way too hard to figure out... and blogs are better anyway.

wow! looks like a great place. Seems like you have gone back in time with the vintage cars and the horse and cart.

Hey Kath and Amy, I have only just come into work to access my e-mails and I am excited to see 2 new blogs to read. Have subsequently delayed doing any work and am now reading about your adventures and living vicariously through you... marking can wait. Looks like you are having a fabulous time and I especially like the photos you are sending through- yep, you've got the cowgirl stance down pat. Sar
