The last couple of days I{ve just been walking round the city and experiencing it all. Also been hanging out with some crazy superpancho obsessed austrians and a german guy. bargains include: 60c superpanchos (hotdog), $1.50 for a litre of beer and 30c for the subway. after my changing $100Us for pesos with the aussie from santiago airport i haven{t needed to change any more money. and i havent got sick yet either from the street stalls!! awesome. today i went to a cemetary. I thought it would be waikumete styles but actually it was all above ground, all these boxes joined together, i don{t know how to describe it. anyway evitas grave was there with loads of flowers on it and then i got lost becos the grave boxes are so high you cant see where you are. and i did some grave rubbing. sorry that this sounds so lost, im just pretty wasted from all the walking and also went out to a bar last night and south americans dont go out til 2am or so, so didnt sleep much. and i missed free breakfast, but its no big loss cos im sure i will get my fill of croissant things,bread and jam and coffee with powdered milk during this trip. and i had a superpancho at 4am anyway. so just got tomorrow to kill (heaps of options hopefully not involving too much walking) and then aarons arriving and we can get this show on the road!
