La BocaLa BocaLa Boca

Brightly coloured Tango capital of the world
So i'm writing this a little late and not from the comfort of the fabulous hotel that ended our stay in the lovely city of Buenos Aires.

So we finally got to La Boca, for a spot of tango....NOT us but everybody else seemed to be getting involved. Young or old it doesn't matter if you can put on a suit or tight dress (as i said not us), then you too can make money from tourists eager to put on a threadbare feather boa and have a photo taken.

La Boca is great to look at if nothing else, all of the guidebooks say one shouldn't stray from the beaten path and the area does still fete a drug cheating footballer (and THAT goal). The roads are lined with tango couples, artists, cafes and the rusting hulks that line the dock make for a good photo with character.
