Aire-sur-l'adour
October 11th 2018 We had a really enjoyable walk today. We are still seeing vineyards and corn fields but also hillsides of trees. Until now the trees we have been to line the edge of an agricultural field or a stretch of flat roadbed. We are encouraged that we might be nearing foothills of the Pyrenees. Hopeful thinking I fear as we are still miles away. The day was warm but the sun was filtered by broken clouds
