Pied Kingfishers

Thank you Dave. As you may know, it's my brother David (of the Grey haired nomads) who is the birder, but I'm learning fast! That was one of my favourite shots - if only because I didn't manage to capture the birds in flight together shortly before this one was taken! By way of compensation, this shot shows the habitat though. Pied Kingfishers may be monochrome but they're cute - there's another one in the panoramas on my 'Faster down the Ganges... ' blog.
