Day 9 Pamir Highway - to Kyrgyzstan!

It was 100km or so from Karakul Lake, Tajikistan to Sary Tash, the first town over the border in Kyrgyzstan. With the border crossing it took us around 4 hours to get to the Sary Mogol, the next village over. A convoy of bloggers
I recall our drivers took turns to race each other to the border. What fun to have met up with other Travelbloggers such as you and share tales of our adventures and the dust of the road. Glad you escaped the tummy troubles that plagued Denise in Tajikistan and me to a lesser extent. One of the group of cyclists we met in Karakul had to be taken to hospital so bit of a lottery and you can never be too careful in what you eat and drink in remote places.
