I awoke to another sunny morning, although the Welsh Gate Inn owner said the rain was heavy during the evening, as was the winds. Recently retired, and intent on working through my bucket list (if ever I had one) The current item that I have just initiated is a solo north/south cycle adventure in the UK. Starting from the top of Scotland (or close), I am working (or playing) my way down to the south of England (or close). I am cycling the LEJOG (Lands End to John O'Groats challenge), but making it a JOGLE (in reverse). It looks to be 21 days of cycling (far longer than the record of 41 hours and a bit (but speed is far from my goals on this adventure).... full info
