The dry season in Northern Costa Rica looks a lot like autumn in Canada. The trees have lost their leaves except for in the high mountain areas and along the rivers. The good news is that there is very few mosquitos. We decided to check out one waterfall before we left the country. It was in a park one hour north of Liberia, called Rincon de la Vieja. Sandra and James are planning a low budget trip around the world! We left Canada on January 31, 2007 and headed to Costa Rica to visit James' Aunt and Uncle, as well as visit the rest of the country. We will also spend some time in Nicaragua before Sandra returns to China to finish studying Mandarin. James will continue travelling in Central America until June, 2007 and then go to China where we will continue travelling together again. With no definite destination or schedule we have decided to bum around the world for as long as we can stretch our funds.... full info
