Rizal Monument

There's a Jose Rizal monument in every barangay of every town in every province of each island in the Philippines. A Barangay(some people call it Barrio) is, for lack of a better analogy, like a district in the States, with it's own school district, neighborhood council, etc. I'm not sure if that's a good analogy.
