If there were spikes on the door, then it was Indian. This was how Indian doors were designed, in order to stop elephants charging hem. There are no elephants in Zanzibar...

Hello All, I'm currently writing this from a very noisy hotel room in Dar es Salaam, the commercial capital of Tanzania, having arrived back from an incredible week in Zanzibar.
