Entering Tory Channel from Cook Strait
Heading to the South Island

January 29th 2007
On the 29th we boarded the Santa Regina ferry and headed to the South Island. We left Wellington harbour around 1pm and arrived in Picton at 4:30pm. It was a pretty windy day but the crossing wasn’t too rough. Once we entered the Marlborough Sounds we saw a Mama Dolphin and her baby.
