The journey from Bangkok to Iloilo turned out to be the most frustrating of all the trips we have made so far,the day started well with a visit to see the emerald Buddha and the royal palace then back to the tailors to pick up the cloths Emma had ordered, at mid-day back to the Indian embassy to put in our passports for visas, back to our room where Emma starts to pack and I go to the post office ... read more

Comment on A very very Long Job
Having thoroughly enjoyed being at home in England for the past two and a bit years, we are now heading off again. This time we are starting in Morocco (November 2010) and travelling with Oasis Overland, down to Cape Town. This leg should take about 5 months, after which we will be travelling independently and might visit parts of the East Coast and then carry on to Asia for a year or so. We will simply see where we fancy going at the time.
We hope that you enjoy the blog, as and when it gets updated.
