We never did get our dives. Gills ear infection did clear up - but a week later - in Kuala Lumpur (KL). We decided to head for KL in case Gills ear infection needed medical attention. In the end it was me that needed the doctor for the usual traveller condition, 'unhappy tummy' as we prefer to call it. The ethos of this trip is one of 'a life spring clean'. We've sold almost everything we own - house, furniture, car and belongings. We have left our jobs and pooled funds for a world trip -culminating in an extended period in New Zealand where we'll be working (gotta happen sooner or later)! If all goes to plan we'll be spending 4 months in India, 4 months in SE Asia, 4 months in Australia and then as long in New Zealand as the money will allow.... full info
