Atomic Bomb Dome

When Hiroshima was rebuilt the remains of the building was left as a reminder. The symbolic value of the Atomic Bomb Dome was recognised by UNESCO in 1996 when it was added to the World Heritage List.

From Itsukushima Shrine to the Atomic Bomb Dome We are sorry to say this but it's got to suck to live in Hiroshima.
