After visiting Costa Rica in 2009 we decided we wanted to see more of Latin America. Between 2009 and 2014 we went on holiday to Mexico (Yucatan), Belize, Guatemala (Tikal), Chili, Bolivia and Ecuador. Unfortunately during these 3 week holidays we never felt as if we really got to know the region. End 2013 the opportunity arose to travel to Latin America for a longer time.
