Koethaung Pagoda

90,000 Buddhas is the popular name for this , the largest of the surviving temples. We had spent that morning walking through the village and the countryside .The temperture wa perfect and the people we encountered were ever so helpful pointing out the way to get to the temples.

Having a 4 day holiday in Ngapli Beach was a good idea . We were ready to move on and it did take a bit of effort to get to Mrauk . We flew to Sittwe , the capital city of the area , had to overnight in a dingy hotel then take a 7 am ferry .
