In the Hand pub

After my walk along the canal which I followed to just outside the town limits, I returned to the hotel to wait for Gail. When she returned I took her back for an abbreviated walk along the now dark canal towpath. Still not wanting to call it a night yet, we headed down to the hotel bar. We enjoyed a couple beers while watching the gentlemen feeding his dog small dishes of beer and salted peanuts. It was after 11:00 before we headed up to bed.
Day Five (Across the Irish Sea to Wales)

July 17th 2006
No ghosts and no breakfast again. But we were up early in order to head out to the docks for our ferry ride over to Wales. James was in a big hurry to beat the anticipated rush hour.
