Broken Hill

Well the countryside is much greener around Bourke having had about 80mls or so in the last few days. On the drive down to Cobar there was water by the side of the roads. There aren't as many dead roos on the road as in N.W.Qld. However we have seen lots of wild goats and herds of emus. Wilcania has gone backwards since we were last there. Shops closed or burnt down. Wilcania
Sad about Wilcania. When we stopped there in 03 we took one look and decided to keep moving. Was interested because I had read good things about it in Inspector Bonaparte books, written by Arthur Upfield.
