Leaving Key West we drove through alligator country to the West Coast. We stopped overnight at Bonita Springs and then on to Jacksonville. We hoped to see Janet and Ngat again. Janet was away so we stayed in a motel close to North Florida State to be near Ngat. Ngat is the Vietnamese young woman I had helped through college and had come to the U.S. for advanced studies.
