In addition to the delightful Amanda. I did the crossing with Alan, from Brighton a man of action not words, Kev, beau of Amanda, a man of words and not action-fond of submarine novels and folds easily at Poker, Julian who in addition to the misfortune of being billeted at close quarters with me for five days had also recently been robbed in Venezuela and arrested in Cartagena. He is possibly also one of the few people I have ever met who has worse chat-up lines than me.
