The terminal has meat, produce, flower, and seafood markets and a liquor store for workers on their way home.

When we saw that Hurricane Gabriel would appear in Nova Scotia as heavy rain today, we decided that this would be the day to do make some ferry reservations for Newfoundland, do laundry, buy a new suitcase for me, and walk the streets of Halifax and we accomplished all four.
