Made it to the Netherlands! Oostende to Middelburg via Breskens - August 14 - August 16, 2013 August 16th 2013 We left Oostende, Belgium at 1PM and made our way to Breskens, Netherlands. We had hoped to make it to Vlissingen (Flushing to us English speakers), but we saw that we would need to go through a lock and bridge and understood that the last opening was at 7:30PM. Like so many others we love to travel and we love to sail so cruising makes a lot of sense. Janice has retired from Cornell as a business manager and Bob has retired from South Seneca school district as the high school principal.
