Invigorated by our temple tours we travelled the next morning to the nearby Pale School Pagoda to meet with the friendly monks who had invited us. On arrival both Chealy and Sokhorn both came out to meet us and led us up the external staircase of a two story building where bright orange robes were slung over the banisters and into their dormitory. This is a tale of two,
Of Claire and Kevin who,
Met with a parallel dream,
To travel the world unseen.
18 flights ahead,
Each night an unknown bed,
Laden with karrimor packs,
This blog to record our tracks.
Who can tell what’s in store?
Mountains the realm of the Condor,
Bus trips of 22 hours,
Deserts and Tokyo towers.
Crossing the world in all,
Like lines on a tennis ball,
America South and then on,
Rapa Nui to Oz.
There to Asia Southeast,
Eyes and our bellies a feast,
India beckons at last,
Then home it all went too fast.
