Hand written note that was found in the getaway car
A piece of paper that was found in the car that Timothy McVeigh's get away car. He evidently left the car a few days prior with this note asking authorities not to tow the car, he will return. Of course in 1995, the authorities believed people and left things alone. Of course now we are suspicious of everything. And he probably would not have been found but he was not very smart on all accounts. About 60 miles north of the city he was pulled over because of the car did not have the tags on. The officer that pulled him over noticed a gun inside McVeigh's jacket. Who knows if he would have been caught if it was not for the officer doing his job.
