We'd been informed that Tahiti was extremely expensive so we were very wary of how this would effect our miniature budget. When we arrived at the airport at 1am it seemed ridiculous to pay for somewhere to sleep for only a few hours so we made ourselves comfortable on the floor in the airport lying on our sleeping bags and using our bags as pillows. I graduated from university in June 2005 and felt the urge to travel. I decided with a little help from my friends, formed after many a drunken student night together, to make a pact with them to see the world.
