Today we have driven north from Taranga to Matarangi, in the north end of the coromandel. We stopped at "Hot Water Beach". Either side of low tide you can dig your own spa pool as water from hot springs seeps up through the sand. From there we hiked 1 1/2 hours RT to Cathedral Cove.
