Golfing at Memorial
It was wonderful to see Geoff for a couple of weeks - his first real visit to our new house and Qualicum. Coming from Halifax with the most bars per capita in Canada to Qualicum with the average age 60.1 years - it was a quiet visit, but we loved having him. Pick up hockey, a few games of golf kept him entertained and a visit to the 'Shady Rest' kept us going. (He thought the Shady Rest was a retirement home, but in fact is a local pub. From the age of a lot of the people, Geoff was still not convinced.)
