As you can see the roads in Kuwait are much more like American roads. Not only because of the huge wide expance of the roads's but 90% or cars driven in Kuwait are huge 4x4 American cars, jeeps and hummers. Its unusual to see a small car like the one infront of us. I think this has alot to do with the speed and hap hazard way in which poeple drive over here. Compared to the UK its terrifying and I'm getting a driver. Not brave enough to take these roads on. Although saying that many expats do so don't let me put you off :D notice all the palm trees lining the road. doesn't it look amazing.

Hello all, and thank you for coming back yet again. I haven't updated my diary for nearly a month now as it has been incredibly hot and I have been hiding away inside the house where the air conditioning keeps me from cooking internally and turning into a blistered lobster. They record the temperature in the shade and today it was 47c... so I guess in the sun that would be hitting around 52c an ... read more
