While the girls headed to Paris I, Greg, went to meet some like-minded military history buffs in Spain. We were there for the 200th anniversary of the Battle of Salamanca. This victory over the French by the British Peninsular Army led by the Duke of Wellington resulted in the liberation of Madrid, and over the next year the liberation of Spain from France. 200 people from Britain, France, Portuga ... read more
