July 11th 2012 It is very hot and humid, especially in the subways. The trains are airconditioned, so all the hot air from the train air condition is released into the tunnels making the air in the stations even warmer than outside. So, the temperature difference between the train and the station is just high enough to get quite a temperature shock when entering or exiting the train.
