Benny freaking out in a leaky boat

We spent 5 hours in Vang Vieng walking through the jungle trying to find one of the local caves and ended up finding some crusty old ferryman who ferried us across the insanely fast-flowing river of death in a boat that was barely a plank of wood. Fun fun. Turned out you couldn't go any further than the entrance of the cave :S oh well... it's the journey, not the destination... right?

Vientiane!? What happens? There is nothing here! It's a street... with a couple of Tuk-tuks... and a restaurant or two... and that's...about...it! We're heading down to Si Pan Don- or the Four Thousand Islands tonight, which should be nice.
