I arrived here a bit scared being on my own but within a couple of hours I met a really nice American girl and we decided to do the free walking tour around the city. The tour was great, the guide took us down to the harbour, showed us various museums, old buildings (not very old considering this is Australia!), Hyde Park (named after our park!), and a bit of the Botanical gardens.
