Bridge to No Where
March 15th 2012 March 14th - our wedding anniversary, number 25! We will celebrate with a hike and picnic lunch on the Bridge to Nowhere. Our guide takes us, along with 8 other people (all Kiwis) down the river via jet boat to the bridge trail.
This bridge was built to accommodate farmers to get their crops, wool, etc to the river. After WWI the gov't gave land to soldiers, approx. 1400 acres per man. Inte
