The Walls

Twice during the 100 years war, the British stormed the island trying to take it from the French. Both times they were unsuccessful owing to the great defences of the island. The last time the British left, they abandoned two massive siege canons on the beach - these are now on display at the gates.
We Arrived in France!! Now Onto Mont Saint Michel!!

When we awoke this morning, we were in France! We had time for a quick breakfast in the restaurant, getting to see daylight onboard the ship for the first time.
