An old colonial city. You feel safe even at dark. Everybody tries to help you. The most impressive action is the visit to Shwedagon Pagoda. It is a praying complex. It gives a feeling like Kabe for Muslims, Varanasi for Hindus, Vatican for Christians . As if there exist a vast religious energy at the atmosphere. Great barbecue and cheap beers
I love the mojitos for 800kiats... where else would you get a mojito for less than a dollar? I also found info about 19th street on http://yangon-rangoon.com/19th-street-in-yangon.html There is around 20 bars in 19th street, the best are always crowded.
