Sitting in the car on the way to the airport felt different this time. As I tried to talk to Mum all I could think about was trying not to be sick, I couldn't talk and I could hardly breathe. The time has come for me to embark on yet another 'trip of a lifetime' This time, 4 continents, no work, my backpack, a few Lonely Planet guides, my ipod, my passport and enough cash for 217 days (Am hoping this is the trip I learn how to budget properly). I take off January 9th and head to Thailand for a relaxing (ha!) holiday with my good friend MelNoGoodNicabocca before the mayhem and go, go, go of backpacking begins.
