This weekend was Edinburgh Doors Open Day 2011. On Saturday I took a detour past the Fire Museum and ended up at the Sheriff Department. I took a tour and watched a mock trial. I then wandered in the wrong direction and by the time I got to the John Knox House the tickets were sold out so I went to the Simpsons House.
