Drove 650 miles in the first 24 hours. Spent our first night in a Walmart parking lot. Reached my cousin's home by evening of day one. Had a wonderful time with them. Celebrated Garrett's (dad) birthday, played with the children, then resumed our driving. Barb did well behind the wheel, maggie adjusted to the road and we escaped accidents and injuries.
