The new Mabua Beach

I remember the first time I've stepped on the rocky shores of Mabua (in Surigao City). It was then pristine -- uncorrupted by civilization. But now, there are a few buildings and hostels built near it. This one's the biggest, so far.

We checked out of Villa Ernesto at General Luna, Siargao as early as 4:00am. The van brought us to the Port of Del Carmen to take our 5:30am Leonida Ferry Ride.
