Wat from longboat

Yesterday we went on a Longboat ride through the canals in Bangkok. The old city is surrounded by canals and it was fascinating to ride in a traditional Thai longboat to see the homes on the water and the floating market. We are from Ottawa, Canada and are embarking on our third Asian Adventure! In 2005-2006 we taught in China at the Guangdong Industry Technical College. Our love for China was born! We spent our Chinese New Year holiday travelling to Hong Kong, Macau, Singapore, Malaysia (including Langkawi) and Southern Thailand.
