Journey Across the Country
My morning began early, packing and then leaving the hotel to catch the 8:30am fast train to Florence. The fast train was so much fancier than the regional trains I’d been taking. The train was cleaner, newer, and felt more luxurious. The journey took just two hours, most of which I slept.

Travel is a huge part of my life. If I'm not just coming back from a trip, you'll probably find me planning one. I have the travel bug for sure. Now that I have the means to travel more often, I thought an online journal would be a great way to keep in touch with family and friends (meanwhile making them wildly jealous) and would be useful in documenting my experiences for myself or anyone who may be interested in my destinations.
